Satisfaction with a Job Well Done

Updated: Feb 23, 2023

Scott's Latest Renovation

Over the Labor Day weekend Scott and I headed west to the Little Elm, Flower Mound, and Lewisville areas. We were interested in a house in Little Elm in an area where beautiful, new homes are mixed in with old run-down properties. We were doing a drive-by on one Scott found highly discounted on the MLS, but it was so dilapidated and overgrown with brush that we decided that one was out.

Next we drove over to Lewisville and we looked at a house that has a lot of potential. It was old and smelly, had really bad foundation issues, and needed lots of work on the backyard. That house had many more problems that I won't even try to list. Scott said it was beautiful! After flipping over 300 homes over 12 years, he has a great sense for buying properties, but what I really love is his confidence in moving forward. Maybe it will be his next flip.

The last house we traveled to was a flip Scott recently completed. We walked around the property making sure there was no water damage after the recent storms. Investors Tip: It is always a good idea to visit properties after a storm and check for water damage so there are no surprises. Scott did an amazing job on this remodel. I asked him to give me one word to describe how he felt about the flip and he said, "Satisfaction."
